Training for Therapists
We develop, evolve, get hurt and experience the deepest healing, in the context of our closest relationships.
The training institute at CRR is dedicated exclusively and comprehensively to issues and topics specific to relational trauma and neglect, healing and repair.
Therapists working with survivors of relational trauma often find that the unique needs and experiences of this population demand a sensitive and specific approach. Our courses offer both foundational and advanced concepts in relational resilience.
Trainings 2025-26
Invisible Dimensions of Relational Trauma Therapy
When early attachment relationships are painful, alienating, or not adequately safe and nurturing, the wounds that develop are related to the Self. Trauma will show up as shame, isolation, and ambiguous grief, rather than the more commonly recognized experiences of terror or horror as with event-based trauma. Those suffering from relational trauma often lack language through which to understand their experience, and the vulnerability of therapy itself can trigger wounds developed in an earlier relational context. Therapy that’s not adapted to this population in method or pacing can deepen feelings of confusion, alienation, or failure. This track is for therapists passionate about working with trauma in a relational way. It differentiates relational trauma from single-event trauma, and offers an approach to healing that doesn’t assume client readiness or comfort with any particular modality.

Restoring Coherence in Confusing Relationships
Improving a relationship in distress requires a deep understanding of the specific dynamics of the relationship. If a relationship doesn’t meet a basic threshold of emotional safety, it demands an entirely different undertaking than classic couples or family modalities rely on; some models are founded on a premise of minimum safety that isn’t always true, and others unknowingly empower for abuse. With this training, you’ll learn how to help clients who are in a relationship characterized by ongoing relational distress to create an environment for individual agency while remaining grounded in the reality of the dynamics they face. This track is for therapists who are working with people in ongoing painful relationships: It differentiates being trauma-informed from being safety-informed, and offers an approach to resilience that accounts for current safety, past trauma, dynamics of control, and relationship viability.

to offer clarity and direction when working with one individual; to coordinate side by side work with two individuals; and to create a bridge back to relationality where viable.
Integration
The Integration group is designed to help you integrate and apply the model alongside your learning, based on your and your peers' clients and clinical questions and dilemmas. Participants benefit from a profound sense of connection, community, and support. The more points of connection you have within the CRR model, the more integrated your learning experience. The integration group allows students to benefit from hearing different voices, and bringing together ideas from both tracks. It is designed to be the ultimate integrative learning experience. While professionals are warmly welcomed into each individual training, we heavily subsidize the fees of the integration track, to allow for a more complete immersion into the model. Only open to participants or graduates of a CRR training Additional 3,000 ILS when purchased with your track (normally 6,000 shekel) 2 hours weekly, pending acceptance and placement in a group
Certification
We offer two distinct annual tracks, one focused on healing relational trauma from the past, the other on addressing complex dynamics in relationships that are ongoing.
Certification is offered at various levels, with full certification awarded to those who complete both tracks, along with two years of active participation in an Integration Group.
